USA Dance, Inc, formerly known as United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Assoc, is the National Governing Body for DanceSport in the United States, as recognized by the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and the International DanceSport Federation (IDSF)
This new name better reflects the diversity of dancing encompassed by our club's activities. Our website is constantly undergoing updating and revision, so that our members and visitors have the very latest information on ballroom dance locally, and worldwide. All comments and suggestions are eagerly awaited ... so let us know what you think!
Our Mission . . .
To organize and support programs for the recreational enjoyment of ballroom dancing by all ages, and create affordable opportunities for the general public to participate in ballroom dancing and DanceSport.

Important NoticeAfter careful consideration, the Board of Directors has decided to focus the chapters attention on our 2nd Friday Night dance, at Avant Garde Ballroom. Our main purpose is to further the enjoyment of ballroom dance, as a hobby, by promoting dance, and providing opportunities to join others, at regular dance nights. Currently, there are many ballrooms in Orange County offering Saturday night dances. In fact, so many so, that even several of the dance studios are not experiencing sufficient attendance. As a Board, we want the Orange County Chapter to use it's resources to enhance the ballroom dancing community, in ways NOT being currently addressed by commercial ballrooms. We are presently investigating an entirely new idea, in which USA Dance can truly fill a void. Soon, after further planning, we will announce our new venture. We are sure that this new endeavor will satisfy an important need, as we continue to expose the citizens of Orange County to the healthy and invigorating hobby of ballroom dance. |
